Ed Zoebisch of Empyrean Beads

Ed came into this world on April 2, 1949 as Edward Zoebisch.

But he left this world on February 15, 2014 with many bead friends.

Shocking News! Ed Zoebisch of Empyrean Beads passed away on Feb 15 from a heart attack. Ed lived in Seattle Washington.

We will sadly miss this wonderful man and bead lover. We will miss his smiles at our beads show and in our bead world. For all of you who know Ed, he always walked up and said "Hi Guys, How ya doing?" with a huge smile.

I can remember times when we shared a dinner after shows and he was always asking us things like ; "How is yours? What did you get? Is it good? I might try that sometime." Always curious and a very sweet personality.

We had many times when Ed would come running over to our booth before set and and ask  "so, what is new?" We would tell him little things about our Grandkids or our dog or a new tree we planted. Then he would say "and any new beads?" We would all laugh, as we all knew he wanted to know what Vintage beads we had found on our adventures. Ed had a great love for Vintage seed beads, nailheads (especially bronze or gold). He was a specialist in hunting down the itty bitties for his customers.

Ed, We will always remember you, your friends J-ME & Guy of Wild Things Beads
